Sunday Opening Reception - September 14
The opening reception sponsored by the conference exhibitors is open to all conference attendees and will be held on Sunday from 4:00 – 5:30 pm. Join us in the Exhibits Area in the Presidential Ballroom North to meet your colleagues and our generous sponsors.

Sunday Evening - September 14
Unisys invites conference attendees to experience “Studio Beatles” a visually explosive tribute to both the Beatles and Abbey Road Studios. Complete with a Beatles tribute band (the WannaBeatles - http://www.thewannabeatles.com), the Presidential Ballroom will be transformed into “the studio”, being washed in apple green (for the Beatles record label) and black leather. Please join us Sunday evening, 9/14 after the welcome reception for great music, food and beverages with a hip 1960’s club feel. Interactive and exciting, this is an event you can’t miss.

Monday Evening - September 15
CNSI cordially invites MMIS attendees to an “East Meets West”-themed evening of music, dance and camaraderie. Guests will enter an Asian-flared oasis filled with unique touches of traditional Japanese design and elements that are sure to transport them to another world. Be prepared to take yourself to an instant state of tranquility as you kick back and relax in our Japanese Zen garden, or if you prefer, dance the night away to the sounds of a contemporary, high-energy band. Guests will enjoy a menu of Asian-inspired dishes and specialty drinks. Come join us for this one of a kind event that you’ll be sure to never forget!

Monday Evening - September 15
CSC Casino night — fundraising with flair
Take a chance and help raise money at CSC’s Casino Night for a local charity. Enjoy an evening of fun with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, blackjack, roulette & more!
Location: Presidential Ballroom Lobby Gaylord Opryland Resort Time: 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Tuesday Afternoon and Evening Activities:
Golf Tournament - September 16 (beginning at 2 PM)
Please join your fellow MMIS attendees in an 18 hole golf tournament at Gaylord Springs, Nashville's premiere golf venue. The fee to participate is $50 and includes transportation, cart, beverages and snacks, and dinner. Golf club rental would be extra.

Grand Ole Opry Show and Studio A Tour and Dinner - September 16 (beginning at 3:30 PM)
Your chance to attend a show at the legendary Grand Ole Opry. The names of the performers are not released until a week before the show. The fee is $85 and would include transportation, a tour of Studio A, dinner and beverages, and your ticket to the Grand Ole Opry. You may register online when you register for the conference. There are only 300 tickets available.

Wednesday Afternoon Ice Cream Social and Raffle - September 17
The afternoon break on Wednesday will be held in the exhibits area and will feature an ice cream buffet. Additionally, several vendors will announce the winners of their raffles.

Wednesday Evening - September 17
ACS is delighted to host a fun-filled, Nashville-themed evening. This event will bring classic Nashville destinations to you by transforming the Gaylord’s Presidential Ballroom South into a few of Nashville’s hottest night spots. With great food, terrific atmosphere, live music, and a few fun surprises – all onsite at the Gaylord. So pack your best cowboy hat and boots and come ready for a “Night Out in Nashville”!

Thursday Closing Plenary - September 18
To end our conference on a musical note, our closing keynote will be Robin Crow, owner and founder of Dark Horse Recording. Clients of Dark Horse include Neil Diamond, Faith Hill, Jewel and Alison Krauss. Robin is also an exceptional guitarist and his unique musical and motivational performance will be a perfect ending to MMIS 2008.
